I published a summary on DDoS attacks. It’s not the most comprehensive article of all time, but it should be enough to get you through CompTIA certification on the subject. To summarize the article, a single device in a botnet is referred to as a zombie. Zombies can be controlled remotely, and their resources are then pooled to overwhelm a victim’s resources. The outcome is ultimately that a victim is taken offline.
I am trying to come up with software development ideas, but until I can think of one my content will be focused on IT. I want to help try to fill in gaps where I can with supplementary information. I am by no means an authority on IT. However I do have several certifications from CompTIA and I sort of know what they cover.
